This isn’t about technology - it’s about people. The world is advancing at a rapid pace, yet many are still reluctant to use technologies they don’t trust. This principle applies to everyone - volunteers, stakeholders, and beneficiaries alike. Many organisations in NL have reached a critical point in their application of innovation. This created an opportunity to develop easy-to-use, but more impactful innovation capabilities to increase community engagement in North Lanarkshire. North Lanarkshire’s third sector organisations, stakeholders, and volunteers are already using new technologies to their advantage.
-
Success will be achieved when North Lanarkshire CVS organisations become pioneers in scaling active participation through innovation and recognise that digital transformation is not merely a convenience but a strategic, Lanarkshire-wide approach that brings together people, policies, and technology to create an exponential impact, enabling and encouraging positive change across the sector.
-
Additionally, success will be realised when active and interconnected communities will share knowledge, experiences, and collaborate with stakeholders, using both existing and emerging digital tools and resources that are accessible to every citizen of North Lanarkshire, regardless of their busy schedule.
-
NL citizens will have access to the same CVS and LOIP updates and information (single point of truth) at the same place and time.
-
NL Citizens are empowered where they are, with access to learning, funding, volunteering and jobs, enjoying inclusivity, sustainability and collaboration.
